Echoes

Echoes are minor spirits believed to exist in all living things, though are particularly strong in under certain conditions. They are considered mirrors of the soul, though can have their own personality quirks. They are referred to as 'Daemons' by scholars of the Seventh Sanctum, 'Fravash' by Rurii shamans, 'Nim(s)' by Brethiln druids.

It is believed that Echoes can be animated to perform magic through various ways of interaction, including (but not limited to): Arcanum, meditation, hallucinogenic episodes (substance or experience-induced), or, in rare cases, by simply conversing with oneself (if the Echo is receptive/strong enough).

It is believed by certain scholars that Lethe have no Echoes, and are instead made from the substance.
